The GlobalEye Group of Photography Websites
GlobalEye started in 1998 as two websites: OzImages, one of the very first online stock photography libraries and The Australian Photographers Network (APN), one of the original photography portals.
Since then our network has grown considerably as we’ve added a variety of new websites and services to help, educate and entertain photographers. We soon replaced APN with a number of community websites, and more recently we changed our name to better reflect the international make up of our audience.
Below you’ll find a directory of our main websites and blogs, as well as a number of projects we’ve developed with our partners and others that we’ve developed for our Clients. All support enquires for any of these websites should be directed through our .
While our services are primarily geared towards Photo Buyers & Photographers, we do have a lot of great resources available that could be extremely useful for any creative web publisher. We’ve added direct links to all the relevant products and services to the page below.
If you’re a creative artist and you have a web presence, or need a web presence, be sure to look over this selection for a very special pre-launch offer…
Photo Buyers can explore our network of stock photo libraries, or you can use our complimentary stock photography search services and we’ll do the searching for you.
We also offer a number of additional services & websites specifically for commercial photo buyers, so please be sure to check out the page below.
We’ve got a range of websites, services and downloads for photographers of all levels. There’s a range of video training packages, articles, forums and a whole lot more, so be sure to bookmark this page and call back often.
For your convenience this section is geared towards the beginners and serious amateurs while our section is more for full- and part-time professional photographers
Fresh Start For GlobalEye Group Photographers website
If you’re on any of our newsletter lists, you’ll know we’ve just embarked on a major program to overhaul and streamline a lot of our operations. This website and blog is set to be a key part of that process. Over the last 10 years we’ve added a lot of different sites and services to our network, and in hindsight, we’ve probably spread ourselves a bit thin in places.
So with the re-launch of this site, we’ll be stripping things back to basics and refocusing our efforts on what’s most important to our Members, our Photo Buyers and our subscriber base of photographers. If you read our “Death of Stock Photography?” report you’ll already know where a lot of this is headed … if you haven’t I’ll post a link to it shortly!
The short version is, as far as content goes, we’ll be posting all new articles & videos here first. You’ll still be able to find them on our other blogs & sites if you prefer, but we’ll be making this site our main focus for photography information, education & resources.
We’ll be launching a (free) members-only photographers forum and resource directory shortly, and we’ll be using that platform to distribute our photography business reports and training packages. If you’d like a heads-up when that’s ready to go, make sure you subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of the page!
There’s plenty more on the way, so if you’re not into signing up for stuff, at least make sure you bookmark this page and call back soon!
The Death of Stock Photography?
The links below goes to a special report we’ve just published for our contributing photographers called ‘The Death of Stock Photography?’ It takes a hard look at some of the key issues facing the industry and our operations, and suggests a number of changes I believe we all need to consider if we’re to compete and prosper in the current marketplace.
It also outlines a number of key changes and improvements we hope to make to the GlobalEye photographer’s package in the next 12-24 months that will impact all our Members and have flow on benefits for our photographer-subscribers on sites like this. So I’ll encourage everyone to download a copy and take some time to read through it in the next few weeks!
Make sure you share your own thoughts and feedback below when you’re done!
