Fraser Island, Queensland. World Heritage Listed Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. With pristine creeks, freshwater lakes, rainforest and white sandy beaches it is a natural wonder. The island is home to one of the purest strains of Dingo on the East Coast of Australia and the surrounding waters are a playground for migrating whales each year. It is popular with international tourists and locals with kilometres of beach for camping and four-wheel driving.
