Abandoned railway bridges. These are derelict bridges along the disused Main North railway line on the New England tabelands in NSW. The line was completed in 1888. A century later, in 1988 the line north of Armidale was closed. North of Glen Innes the rail line, particularly its bridges, has fallen into disrepair. These images are of long-closed crossings of an abandoned railway-line in and north of Tenterfield. Access to these derelict, dangerous bridges is prohibited.
